Why would you like to serve on the PSC?
Westtown has been such an important part of the lives of my family for the past 15 years. It’s important to me to try to help find the perfect fit for our church.
What spiritual gifts would you be bringing to the PSC?
I have been a member of a church most of my life and have been through a couple of situations where we have had to search for a new pastor. I hope to bring wisdom through experience and my strong sense of faith that the Lord will provide the perfect pastor for Westtown.
How have you served (or are serving) at Westtown?
I have served in Sunday school for many years teaching preschool. I also served in the beginning years of Westtown in the nursery caring for babies. I coordinated our summer vacation bible school program for 5 years. I currently serve on Kiosk duty Sunday mornings as well as Friday night middle school youth group volunteer.
How are you serving Christ’s Kingdom outside of Westtown?
I encourage neighbors and friends from my community to visit Westtown and hope that I am a good example of a Christian woman to them in our every day lives.
Are you willing to commit your time and attention to the PSC, even if it takes a year or two?

Are you willing to travel on weekends to visit churches of the finalists?

Are you willing to perform the duties of the PSC to represent the interests of Westtown Church and its members according to the Presbyterian Church in America’s Book of Church Order (PCA-BCO)?

Summarize your prayer life:
Daily prayer is an important part of my life. Morning devotions end in prayer and when the moment arises, I pray during the day.
Summarize your spiritual journey in Christ:
I was raised in a Baptist home by wonderful Christian parents. I came to know Christ in elementary school. I grew up hearing the word of God every Sunday morning, Sunday night and Wednesday night at Maranatha Baptist Church in St. Petersburg, FL. Although I was a believer and was always at church, it wasn’t until after I had children that I really began to grow deeper in the Word at Westtown church. I’m grateful to Westtown for the deeper relationship I have in Christ.
Is there anything else that you wish to share with the congregation about your desire to serve on the PSC?
There may be times where I can not travel. My husband travels often with work (very rarely on weekends). I may need to stay home with my three kids if there is a child-care conflict.
